Do you have a shop?
Yes. We do have a shop which is accessible to the public. We stock more than 100,000 metres of fabric and we also have over 1,000 fabric and wallpaper books and hangers. We are open Monday – Saturday 10am – 4pm (temporary hours due to COVID19). We are CLOSED on Sundays & Bank Holidays. We are based in Nottingham. Can I cancel or amend my order?
Yes, you can cancel or amend your order. Please get in touch within an hour of making your order so we can respond accordingly. Further information can be found within the Delivery/Returns page.
What type of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards including American Express, Visa Credit, Visa Debit, Mastercard and Maestro. We also accept payments via PayPal.
Do your prices include VAT?
Yes, all product prices include VAT, so they are no hidden charges at the checkout.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. We take security seriously to ensure all customer payments are processed safely. We use Shopify payments to conduct all card payments, all data is processed using an SSL encryption which protects shopper’s personal information. We have a certified level 1 PCI DSS compliant, which is the highest level in regard to secure shopping for customers.
Can I pay via cheque?
No, we do not accept payment via cheque.
Can you provide me with a VAT invoice?
Yes. If you require a VAT invoice, please send us an email quoting your order number and name and we will send you a VAT invoice.
How do I use my discount code?
If you have got a discount code, it can be used at the checkout when completing your order. Simply enter the discount code, click apply and the discount code will automatically deduct the necessary amount off the order.
How do I measure?
Please go to our made to measure page to find out how to accurately measure for curtains and blinds.
How do I request a made to measure quote?
Firstly, find a fabric from our extensive range. Head to the Made to Measure section via the menu then select either “Request a Curtain Quote” or “Request a Blind Quote”. Fill in the necessary details within the form then submit your details. Once we have got your details, we will contact you and provide you with a quote.
Can I use my own fabric?
Yes, you are able to use your own fabric for our made to measure curtains or blinds service. Please contact us or use the made to measure quote application form (please outline you would be supplying your own fabric within the notes) and we will provide you with a quotation.
How long do made to measure items take to make?
Made to measure items will take longer as we require the time to allow for the making time. Our normal lead time is 3-4 weeks but at busy periods such as Christmas, this can increase to 3-5 weeks. Once your order has been completed, we will notify you via email to say it has been dispatched with the relevant tracking details. Delivery will take 1-2 working days and a signature will be required upon delivery.
What curtain headings do you offer?
We have a variety of curtain headings available for made to measure curtains including 3" pencil pleat, 6" pencil pleat, pinch, eyelet, triple pleat, and wave.
What type of curtain linings do you use?
We have a wide range of curtain linings including polycotton, blackout, thermal and interlined.
How do I make payment for a made to measure product?
We can take payment either via BACs or over the phone. We ask for a 50% deposit so your made to measure goods can be made. Once they have be completed and are ready to be sent or collected, we will then ask for the outstanding 50% to be paid.
How do I hang my curtains?
All made to measure curtains will have enclosed a comprehensive step by step guide on how to hang your curtains.
Do you flame-proof fabrics?
Yes. We are able to flame-proof fabrics in compliance with the highest flame treatment standards. All fabrics that are fire treated come with a fire safety certificate. Please see the fire treatment service for further information and prices.
Are you able to supply a fabric despite not showing it on your website?
Yes, we may be able to. Please contact us and provide us with the design name, colour, and supplier.
Can you provide your fabrics at a discounted price?
Yes, we are able to supply a discounted price on fabrics. Discount will vary depending on quantity and the supplier of the fabric.
Are all your fabrics firsts?
We are official stockists of all fabrics that we sell so they are in a new and excellent condition.
How can I find out further specifications of a fabric?
Whilst we have attempted to provide as much fabric information as possible within the product descriptions, we understand you might have a specific/bespoke question in regard to that fabric. Please contact us.
What does a pattern repeat mean?
A pattern repeat is a measurement between one point of the pattern to the same point where it is then repeated.
Can I order a sample?
Yes, samples are available to buy from the product listing. We would recommend all customers to buy a sample if they’re considering using that fabric for curtains or upholstery so they can get a feel for the fabric and see the colour or pattern from a first-hand perspective.
How big are samples?
Samples vary in size however most samples are a4 sized. Please note due to the vast majority of designs you will not see the whole pattern repeat. We cannot guarantee what part of the pattern you will receive from purchasing a sample.
Do you provide an upholstery service?
We do not provide an upholstery service ourselves however, they are a vast majority of local upholsterers up and down the country. We would recommend using verified sites such as the tradesmen or yellow pages to find your local upholsterer within your area.
Can you price match?
Yes, please get in touch regarding this matter and provide us with relevant and necessary information about the product.
Do you deliver?
Due to the fragility of the products, we do not yet offer a delivery service for these products (unless specified within the product description).
How do I collect?
Once you have made payment, we will reserve the product(s) in our storeroom. We will then contact you to arrange a suitable date and time, so the goods can be collected. We are open Monday – Saturday 10am – 4pm (temporary hours due to COVID19). We are closed on Sundays & Bank Holidays.
Can I spread payment? (Pictures & Mirrors only)
Whilst we do not yet offer a credit or payment plan directly via our website, we can still spread payment. Please contact us directly for further information.
How do I hang my picture or mirror?
All pictures and mirrors come with the necessary hooks or rings, so they can be tightly secured to a wall.
Can ready made curtains be altered?
This entirely depends on the design or the supplier. Please contact us for further information with regards to this.
What sizes are available?
The sizes available will be specified within the product listing.
How do I hang my curtains?

I like the fabric from one of your ready-made curtain items, can I buy this fabric by the metre or request a sample?
Unfortunately, the fabric from any of the ready-made curtain items is unavailable to buy by the metre nor are samples available either
